Kitchen update part 3

WHEW! The cabinets are up and I am waiting on the counter tops . It took five days to assemble and install the cabinets. We had to trim two inches off the bottom of the base cabinets to accommodate the concrete bases that were built up to keep them off the floor. The two cabinets by the stove area were installed directly onto the tile floor so no trimming was necessary. The tiler will resume tiling when all the counter tops are in place.

  9. If you invite me to your house warming party, I'll bring the pandan leaves. If I have such a beautiful, spacious and well equiped kitchen, I will spend most of my time there. I can learn to make ratatouille. Helen, I am so happy for you :)

  12. Thank you all for your kind comments. To bring you up to date the counter top supplier sold my counter top that I had paid him for. So I had to start all over again looking for another after getting a full refund. I located one at another supplier after agonizing over several. It is paid for and am waiting for the fabricators to come and start.
