It is horrid that over 24,000 people die every day from hunger or related illness! Senseless! It truly is a testament to the failure of the systems that run the world. It is shameful that so many suffer. If we think of how we support the powers that be, we could help in small ways towards change. We have the most power with what we buy. We can inform ourselves and try to support more humane companies.
