  3. That was fantastic. I just loved seeing your back garden. I'm very jealous of the ginger. It would never grow so well here.

I look forward to seeing more of your garden.

  5. Helen, what a wonderful tour! A pleasure taking this leisurely stroll amidst all your beautiful blooms. Your gingers are gorgeous!! Wow, even the back garden can look like that!! That looks like the Panama rose, the one Andrea identified for you. Fragrant, especially in the evenings...I have one. Your blooming vines, the frangipani, the showers of gold...loved them all!!

About your question on my blog, I really don't know the answer...when I find out i'll tell you.

  6. Goodness - your video would much shorter if you only filmed what wasn't blooming! Goodness, your garden is filled with color - very nice.

  7. Hi Helen, your plants did not show any typhoon experience. I love your wide garden and the plants look healthy. However, i wasn't able to see everything as it takes eternity to open, maybe it's too heavy, i dont know. Or maybe it is our server's fault. I just cant wait that long, maybe i will open again some other time.

  8. Hi Helen,
I've been following your blog for about a year now and it's so much fun to finally hear your voice. You have such a wonderful accent! :-)
I feel like I've actually been to Barbados. Your garden & home are just amazing and I can tell you have put a lot of time and care into each plant. I almost fainted when I saw your torch gingers. I have only seen them in greenhouses here in Houston. Oh I wish I could grow them. I can't wait for your next bloom day. YOU MUST make another video. This was so much fun.
    Happy Bloom Day,
    David/ Tropical Texana :-)
