RIP Sandy

Sandy passed away this morning around 7.00 am. He was at home surrounded by his buddies. Sandy brought tremendous joy and laughter to those who came in contact with him. I buried him in his favorite spot near the pond he loved. I would like to thank all of you for your comforting messages you have sent me. I am still trying to come to grips with his passing.

  1. I am so sorry to read this. Sandy looks like he was a real character and reminds me a lot of our own dog. The passing of a pet, particularly a dog is never an easy time. They are such loyal friends.

  2. Oh Helen my heart breaks and tears are streaming down my face as I write my consolation of well wishes to you! I am very sorry to hear about Sandy as it is so difficult to loose a beloved pet. I too have had many moments of grief with loosing pets and only time (lots of time) helps to mend the sadness. But please know that we are all thinking of you and keep you in our thoughts and prayers for more good times to come.

    Best wishes,
    Sheri

  3. My dear Helen, I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing.
Be comforted with the memories of the good times....laugh out loud at all mischievous and comical things that he did every day....cry your eyes out to ease the heartache and loss...
He will be missed greatly but he will always be remembered.
I'm here if you need me.
    RIP Sandy.

  5. Oh Helen,
So sorry to hear about Sandy. When you told us that he was eating the soup you brought we thought that he was well on his way to recovery.
Our thoughts are with you and Chuck.

  9. Oh, I'm so sorry, Helen. I know how much you'll miss him. We never really realise how much our 4-legged family means to us, do we? And how much they enrich our lives just by being in it.
