Garden Bloggers Bloom Day September 2011

Monarchs are back in the garden after several years of  absence.

These night blooming lilies  are a true baby pink colour.
White  mussaenda will remain  in bloom for several months.
Dwarf powder puff  shrub well is suited for containers.

Hello and welcome to Blooms day  where gardeners from around the globe post what is blooming in their gardens.  It has been a very hot and humid September so far. Yes and the raindrops kept falling all over my garden giving the weeds an excuse to misbehave.  For those of you in the tropics, it is time to start cutting back your plants for the winter/Christmas season. Because of the dampness please pay attention to fungus on your plants, it is deadly if not caught early.  To see what is blooming in gardens around the globe please visit Carol at may dreams garden . Have a wonderful week and happy gardening.

  3. Hello Helen, it looks like you were too busy, haven't heard from you for awhile. I still remember last year when i suddenly got tired of blogging because i dont get many comments, you posted a high pitched call in Autumn Belle's sight, which she sent me via private email. And that was the start of my endless postings and renewed interest, i haven't stopped again from then. So i very well remember you, and of course because we have the same type of plants! Happy Gardening!

  4. Beautiful flowers! Thanks for the advice. It is still raining here, and there is bound to be fungus.

  5. Folks I am busy working on a new project so I am not blogging very much. I am so tired of the incompetent carpenters we have here on the island that they are making my job tiresome. I will post about it when I am done. Thanks for stopping by and you will hear from me.
