We were driving along this country road chatting when this view stopped us in our tracks!
We stopped and knocked at the cottage door and a window opened with a smiling face behind it.

Impatiens were popping up here and there
This colourful croton was to die for.
This Sansevieria was unknown to me and Eureen shared a piece. She told me that it perfumes the garden when in bloom.
Hello and welcome to Garden Blogger's
Bloom Day where gardeners from all around the globe post what is
blooming in their gardens. Last month I was gallivanting around the
island with a friend who follows my blog in Australia. Yes I said
Australia, as we were driving along a country road in the parish of St. John
we came across this gem of a garden owned by a sweet lady by the name of Eureen. It was a cornucopia of colour and plants. She was happy to show us around and talk to us about her garden which has been featured in many international publications. I can only describe this garden as a true Caribbean cottage garden. To see more blooming gardens please go over to Carol's blog at may dreams gardens
What a gorgeous garden. Thanks for sharing. It was lovely to visit and meet the proud owner.
ReplyDeleteI would have stopped, too. The lady's cottage and her gardens is more lovely than any mansion I've seen in my lifetime. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love Eureen's tropical cottage garden and am going to work on making mine look more like hers.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this lovely creation of Eureen's with us.

Wow Eurleen certainly has a green thumb Her cottage and garden reminds me so much of many rural areas in my homeland of Jamaica. I must make one correction the plant that blooms the scented flower spike is member of the dracaena species and not Sansevieria.
ReplyDeleteThanks for have such a wonderful garden and blog site for others to enjoy.
Wonderful really awesome all flowers are so nice if in garden then garden impression is too much..
