Garden blogger's Bloom Day May 2014

Frangipani rocks! The garden is filled with the sensous perfume of the frangipani aka plumeria trees in my garden.

The rain lilies aka zephyrantes are now in bloom below the white mussendas

We are still in a drought and haven't seen true rain for over two months. Only a few sprinkles here and there.
Hello and welcome to Garden Blogger's Bloom Day where gardeners around the globe post what is blooming in their gardens. Frangipani is the scent of the moment in the garden. I am so in love with them I will be  trying to make some essential oils with them. I am feeling very crafty after a visit to Miami Florida last month where I bought a load of crafty stuff to do from Michaels and Joann fabrics.
To see more blooming gardens please take a trip over to Carol's maydreams gardens.
Enjoy the rest of your week folks and please send us some rain!

  1. Gorgeous plumeria ~ your property must smell wonderful! Mine are mere sticks. Looking forward to the day when they're as big as yours. Happy Bloom Day!

  3. You have some really pretty colors of plumeria. I have one color, a nice pink.

Making your own essential oils ought to be interesting.

I hope your drought ends soon. Things were getting brown and brittle here that I didn't water, but we got quite a bit of heavy rains before dawn this morning an hour or so, and now it is lightly raining again. Windy too.

  5. I hope you won't have to wait much longer for rain. What a delight it must be with all the heady smell of the plumerias. Rain or no rain, your garden is always lovely, Helen.

  7. I wish my rain lilies got to look as great as yours. They never will. After several years, they got zapped by the harsh winter we had this year.
