Hello and welcome to Garden Bloggers Bloom day where gardeners around the globe post what is blooming in their gardens. It is hot and dry, very dry with no rain in sight. The trade winds are very strong so any cloud mass will disappear quickly. I don't know how much longer my plants can take this drought. Please do a rain dance for me!

ReplyDeleteI have hovered over Caesalpinia pulcherrima since April, eagerly awaiting foliage to emerge where they die back here in winter. All the seedlings returned, and now I will hover until yellow and scarlet flowers open for the delight of butterflies and myself.
Your garden is looking really beautiful. I wish I could send you some of our cold and rain in exchange for some of your sunny, dry weather!

ReplyDeleteHi Helen we are both experiencing terrible drought and heat. We now are at 36C with Heat Index of 40.1C. It rained for 1 hr one evening, which lessened the heat a little, but it was not repeated at all. I pity all the plants. I know the star fruit but haven't seen one in flowers, didn't know they are lovely too.
