Garden Blogger's Bloom Day August 2016

Rain fell heavily last Thursday and the ground pond has been  filled to the brim.

The main pond that was having some algae problems is now clear!
Passion fruits are now ripening so there will be more juice in the fridge.

Rain lilies are out in full force!

Hello and welcome to GBBD where gardeners around the globe post what is blooming in their gardens.
It rained heavily  last week Thursday for almost the whole day! And I was elated! The garden is bursting with new growth after a long drought.
To see more blooming gardens please visit Carol at May dreams gardens. Wishing you all a great week!

  1. Hi Helen, it is happy rainy days for us too. However, ours in the province is in the highlands so we don't experience flooding. We have been raining continuously too here in the city so some areas are flooded again, some schools are suspended. I have not been going home for two weeks, i am missing mine.

I love your pond, and those rainlilies. I don't like passionfruit juice so i will not say i like that too, but i love the flowers of the other species.

  2. Your garden is looking very healthy. The plants certainly seem to appreciate the rain.
