This pond was an old cistern we found when we bought the property. It was all broken down and filled with rubbish. Hubby went down and cleaned it out and called in the mason. Voila it became a beautiful focal point in our garden.

That is indeed a very beautiful pond in an idyllic setting with the arecas. Which estate did you buy? I studied at Cave Hill for 3 years so I know Barbados a bit.

ReplyDeletethe property was a small estate owned by the Wards of St. Lucy (Mount Gay)in fact they owned most of St. Lucy and still do. It is near the St. Lucy Church.
